This Privacy Policy explains how Link Saver ("we," "our," or "the App"), developed by Fluxx365, handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

By using Link Saver, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Link Saver stores the following data locally on your device to provide the App's core functionality:

URLs/links you save
Link titles (entered manually or automatically fetched from websites)
Thumbnail URLs (obtained from website Open Graph metadata)
Categories and tags you create
Personal notes you add to saved links
Favorite status of your links
Timestamps of when links are saved
Your theme preference (light or dark mode)
Automatic backup schedule settings

2.2 Data Accessed from Third Parties

When you save a link, the App may connect to the target website to retrieve Open Graph metadata (such as the page title and thumbnail image URL). This data is fetched directly from the website and stored locally on your device.

2.3 Google Account Information

If you choose to use the Google Drive backup feature, the App will access your Google account email address and Google Drive storage solely for the purpose of backing up and restoring your data. This is entirely optional and initiated only by you.

3. How We Use Information

All data collected by Link Saver is used exclusively to provide the App's features and functionality:

Saving and displaying your links
Organizing links by categories and tags
Enabling search and filter capabilities
Providing statistics about your saved links
Backing up and restoring your data
Remembering your display preferences

We do not send any of your data to our servers. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than the App's core functionality.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

All App data is stored locally on your device using Room Database (SQLite) and DataStore Preferences. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers owned or operated by Fluxx365.

4.2 Google Drive Storage

If you enable the Google Drive backup feature, your data will be stored in your personal Google Drive account. Fluxx365 does not have access to your Google Drive or the backup files stored there. Your Google Drive data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4.3 Local Backup Files

When you use the local backup feature, your data is exported to a JSON file stored on your device. You have full control over these backup files.

6. App Permissions

Link Saver requests the following Android permissions:

INTERNET: Required to fetch website metadata (Open Graph data), load thumbnail images from the web, and enable Google Drive backup and restore functionality. No personal data is transmitted to the developer's servers through this permission.

7. Third-Party Services

Link Saver integrates with the following third-party services:

Google Play Services: Used for app distribution and Google account authentication for the Google Drive backup feature.
Google Drive API: Used to provide optional cloud backup and restore functionality. Data is stored in your personal Google Drive account.

8. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. The following measures are in place:

All data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Google Drive backup data is protected by Google's security infrastructure and your Google account security settings.
The App does not store or transmit any authentication credentials. Google Sign-In is handled securely through Google's official authentication system.
No data is sent to or stored on servers owned by Fluxx365.

While we strive to protect your data, please note that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to maintain the security of your device and Google account.

9. Your Rights

You have full control over your data within Link Saver:

Access: You can view all your saved data within the App at any time.
Modification: You can edit or update any saved link, category, tag, or note.
Deletion: You can delete individual links or clear all data by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.
Export: You can export all your data using the local backup feature.
Google Drive data: You can delete backup files from your Google Drive account at any time through the Google Drive app or website.

10. Children's Privacy

Link Saver is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the App, please contact us at fluxx365@gmail.com so we can assist you.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
